Slat conveyors

DLS-5000 Technology |

summarised system presentation |
Plastic slat conveyor chains
in the beverage, dairy and brewery industry used for the
transport of soft drinks, water, milk, beer, etc. in
cardboard packages, bottles, cans, etc. are traditionally
lubricated with water based lubricants.
These water based lubricants are “wet”,
mostly mixtures of water and soap/silicones, or “half dry”,
being up-concentrated so called “dry” lubricants; both are
sprayed on the conveyor belts.
In the more recent periods
some suppliers use oil based lubricants which are
brushed over the conveyor belts tending to be relatively
high polluting and at the same time showing gradually
decreasing lubricating efficiency and increasing lubricant
consumption and maintenance costs.
CHP, an original lubrication
equipment manufacturer, developed her “full dry micro
lubrication” equipment since 1998. Based upon many years
of experience and research CHP achieved to offer a full
reliable state of the art equipment DLS-5000 (previously
named RM2000) and lubricant DLT-333®.
Through her international partnerships she acquired a strong
worldwide market leadership position in this type of
dry lubrication technology.
Through a full automatic
working micro metering system we create a microscopic thin
layer of a specific developed food grade lubricant in both
chain friction area’s : between the package and the top side
of the chain (top lubrication) and between the chain
and the wear strip (bottom lubrication).
We do this by using the
“direct contact” principle, so no brushes and no
spraying equipment.
Different conveyor
manufacturers consider the DLS-5000 technology as also the
most appropriate for high speed lines.
Specific friction related
problems at critical area’s can be remedied with low
cost solutions through an extension on the DLS-5000
lubrication system.
The same control
unit DLU-5000 can be used for the dry lubrication of
PET bottle air conveyors (DLAC system).
For small scale
applications we developed the DLU-5100 control unit.
We recommend to use the food
industry approved Dry Lubricant DLT-333®.
All equipment is
standardised and on stock which allows short delivery
terms. |
