PET Air conveyors

|
DLAC Technology |

summarised system presentation |
PET bottles are transported from a blower moulding machine
or from a PET bottle de-palletizer to the bottle filling
machine via air conveyors. The bottles are supported on a
neck guide being part of a closed conduct conveying system
pressurised by blowers installed alongside the conveyor
track.
Often bottles get jammed as result of oscillations and/or at
joining queuing bottles.
These problems are likely to occur even more frequently as
the average empty-bottle weight decreases and bottles do
become more slim lined.
These blockings cause manpower costs but mainly result in
significant reductions of the overall line efficiency.
In 2004 CHP developed the unique DLAC system for the
micro lubrication of the interface between the neck guide wear
strip of the conduct and the underside of the bottle neck.
We recommend to apply the food industry approved Dry
Lubricant DLT-333®.
We do apply the “direct contact” principle, so no brushes
nor spraying systems, to achieve the highest lubrication
efficiency and to exclude any risk of traces of lubricant
entering the bottle.
